Privacy note & consent

What this website collects, why, and your rights. Skorvi is run from India, so India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) applies; if you're elsewhere (for example the UK, EU, US, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia or the UAE) you can use the same rights below, and any your local law gives you.

What we collect, and why

We don't collect videos on this website. We don't sell, rent or share your data for advertising. Earlier versions of the forms also asked for name, city, level, how often you play and how you play, or held a free early-access spot; those entries are covered by this note too.
Consent
We only store form details when you tap Continue on the email step (this puts you on the free waitlist) or Reserve your first month, $9, with the consent line shown right under that button (earlier versions used a tick box). Optional details you add after joining are saved to the same entry. You can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, by emailing contact email: to be added before launch. Withdrawing doesn't affect anything done before.
Age
Signup is for people aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to sign up on your behalf.
Where it's stored and who processes it
- Form entries and visit counts are stored in a Supabase database in the Mumbai (ap-south-1) region, India. If you're outside India, your data is transferred there.
- The website is hosted on Vercel.
- Payments and refunds are handled by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record. When you open checkout we pass Paddle your email, the sports you picked, a reservation reference and campaign tags; Paddle collects your payment details and billing country under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your full card details.
How long we keep it
Until the purpose is served or you ask us to delete it. If Skorvi doesn't launch, we'll delete waitlist and pre-order data within 12 months of collection (after any refunds are complete). Records of payments and refunds, once checkout exists, are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Your rights
- Access: ask what data we hold about you.
- Correction and erasure: ask us to fix or delete it.
- Grievance redressal: complain to us and we'll respond promptly. If you're not satisfied, you can approach the Data Protection Board of India or your local data protection authority.
- Nomination: nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.
